Danubius Gastro 2017

We have been preparing for three weeks to do our best at Danubius Gastro competiton 2017 that was this january in Bratislava.

The team of cookers competed in december in thier skills against other school and they succsseded.

They had to make their own menu from fish and chicken and prepare desert.

Along the way they also had to show their skills in cutting vegetable and boning chicken and fish filets.

The team of waiters was there as well.

We had to prepare the restaurant, make coffee, mixed drinks in time.

Then it was about communication between the kitchen and the restaurant.

We had to take out the food and give to our costumers.

We went back to Bratislava on Saturday to find out who was the best from the 5 teams.

Our cookers did excelent. As individual they obtained 1-5th place

As a team they were on the first place.

The waiters did good also. As individual Veronika Jankovičová 5.F was third in the coffee competiton.

As team we ended up on third place.

All together we ended up on first place as school. We won 1000 euros and also a lot of prestige for our school.

Besides all of these prizes we won friendship that lasts until now even though we are different ages and classes in our school.
